| Description: | Have you ever seen a Space Rocket Lift Off? Well you can now. This event is what is known as "Static Test Fire" It is VERY-VERY Impressive. Meet at Smiths 655 West 5300 South at 10:15AM Drivers Meeting Leave at 10:30 AM in a Corvette Caravan to Flying J Willard, Ut. (exit 357) for 2nd Drivers meeting at 11:45 then leave for Thiokol. We will then visit the Rocket Garden and onto Rocket Site for the on time "Static Test Fire" Any one that has seen this Blast says that it is TRULY IMPRESSIVE. Then we will cruise up Ogden Canyon to Huntsville, Stopping for lunch at the Shooting Star Bar. This is the oldest bar in Utah. Yes it is a bar but has Great Food. Then on to Trappers Loop and Emigration Canyon with a possible stop at This is the Place monument and Pioneer Village and Gift Shop. |
