| Description: | Come and Join Chip and Nancy for a 6 day run to Mount Rushmore and surrounding sites. Tuesday August 13: Meet at Echo Canyon I-80 eastbound rest area driver's meeting 8:45 to leave at 9am. We will be traveling to Casper WY. Hotel is the C'mon Inn Casper. We have a block of rooms- mention Corvette Club of Utah to receive our room rate of king $109 or queen $114 a night. phone # 307-472-6300 or 866-782-2690. We will be staying here Aug 13 AND Aug 17 so you can make your reservation for both nights at the same time until Aug 1. Hotel needs a full count by then. Wednesday August 14: Driver's meeting 8am to leave at 8:15 to head to Deadwood SD for lunch and visit to the shops and casinos in town. very quaint with lots of history. Head to hotel of choice in Custer SD in the late afternoon. Hotel list below WE will be staying in Custer SD on Wed August 14, Thurs August 15, and Friday August 16 at the same hotel No room have been blocked as the rate was higher if we blocked rooms. Rates are more reasonable if booked through Hotels.com, on the specific hotel apps, or direct with the hotel. Please book by Aug1. All the hotels are very close to each other and on the main street (Mt. Rushmore RD) which has many restaurants and shops. A suggested list of hotels are below.
