| Description: | Description: CCU celebrating June Birthdays and then a fun poker run down the Westside of Utah Lake through Elberta, Goshen, then a stop off at the quaint Hod Rod Diner in Santequin. Meeting place for breakfast and 1st card draw. Jims Family Restaurant, 9236 Village Shop Drive, Sandy, Utah. Directions: Take I-15 to the 9000 South Sandy exit, go east past 700 east to Village Shop Drive by Lowes. After breakfast we will head south on the I-15, take the Bangerter west exit and go to Redwood Road, head south on Redwood to Saratoga Springs Exchange Drive(the street directly behind Walmart). Exchange Drive comes to the Walmart front parking lot where we will draw a card. Get back on southbound Redwood Road, turn right onto Harbor Park Drive (4000 South) in South Saratoga Springs to the LDS church parking lot on the right to draw 3rd card. Get back on Redwood , travel to Elberta, the corner of US6, to the historic gas station. Take a photo or 2 with your car by the station and draw a 4th card. Then its on to Santequin to the Hot Rod Diner on the NW corner of main and 200East. We will draw the last card, have a snack and then head back to SLC on I-15 which is only 3 blocks to the east of the diner. |
