For 24 years the Bountiful Rotary Club has sponsored the Coats For Kids Car Show on Father's Day weekend. We would love to have some of your members participate and show their beautiful cars! Registration is $25.00 per car and this includes a T-shirt, raffle ticket, program, and group parking if you register early. If you want to be in the car parade on Friday evening, the first 75 cars to register (out of 320 registration spots) will be allowed to participate in the parade up and down Bountiful's Main Street to be viewed by thousands of spectators. Around 7:00 PM a burnout contest is held for anyone who wants to participate. The Friday car show runs from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Then, on Saturday, the car show moves to Bountiful Park at 400 North and 200 West. This is a beautiful park with mature trees and the cars get to park in the shade on the grass. There is room for about 200 cars for this part of the show. It runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, after which awards are presented to various winners between 3:00 and 3:45 PM. At both shows are food vendors such as Texas Roadhouse, MO Beth's, Devils Pit BBQ, fresh corn, etc. In all, this is a lot of fun. Last year about 10,000 people showed up to the shows on Friday and Saturday.
