Description:  Its short notice but,
We had so much fun last time we're going back to Cody on July 23. The plan is:

July 23 (Thursday) - Meet at Smith's Parking located at 665 W. 5300 S in Murray at 9 AM. We're headed to Ennis MT. (371 Miles). We'll drive to Mesa Falls, Idaho and stop for lunch. Pack your lunch for this one. The scenery is amazing but not a lot of amenities. From there we'll drive through Island Park and around Quake Lake to Ennis. We're staying at the Rainbow Valley Lodge, (406) 682-4264. The rate is $103 plus tax. You're on your own for dinner or you can join Nola and I wherever we find.

July 24 (Friday) - Drivers meeting at 9 AM. We'll head over to Virginia City about 20 miles away to check it out. Its a ghost town now but was the Territorial Capital once upon a time. From there we will head to Mammoth at the North entrance to Yellowstone National Park. (150 Miles). We'll find lunch there. We'll wind through Yellowstone to see the falls and leave through the East entrance to Cody. (130 Miles). We're staying at the Cody Cowboy Village, (307)-587-7555 (ask for Petra). We'll be there for 2 nights. The rate is $169 plus tax. We're looking for a good Steakhouse for dinner. Petra suggested a few and I'm looking into them.

July 25 (Saturday) - Drivers meeting at 9AM. We're heading to Red Lodge MT. about 60 Miles. We'll take in the town highlights in about an hour and head up the Beartooth Highway. Absolutely an amazing drive up and around the mountains over to Cooke City. (80 Miles). We'll turn around at Cooke City and back to Cody taking the Chief Joseph Hiway. Again, a beautiful drive through the mountains and forest. We will be dining at Cowboy Village. They have a dinner and show that's a lot of fun. Make sure to buy your dinner tickets when you check in. While in Cody, you may want to stop at the museum. They are auctioning off a 1967 GTO this year. And, the museum is fantastic. Its also a great place for a picture opportunity in front of the Buffalo Bill statue.

July 25 (Sunday) 9AM drivers meeting. We're heading back to Salt Lake. (445 Miles). Hoping to get you home around 4.

For those that can't make Thursday. Scott and Kori Jensen are coming to meet us in Cody on Friday. You can join up with them and drive to Cody and spend Friday afternoon (evening), Saturday and Sunday with us.

John has asked that if you are going to go with him, that you use the signup button above so he knows who is going with him.
