| Description: | Come and Join Bernie and Terri Warburton and Larry VanWagoner on their annual Route 66 Fun Run You must register with Route 66 Association www.azrt66.com Phone (928) 753-5001 Please tell them you are with the Corvette Club of Utah when you register. Thursday, May 1st. Meet at Thanksgiving Point exit 284 by the water tower in the parking lot. Drivers meeting at 8:45 am and depart at 9:00 am. Heading to Boulder Nevada. Lunch in St George. We are staying at the Hoover Dam Lodge and Casino. The cost of the rooms will be $101.65 total. 702-298-2242 reserved under "Route 66 Run Corvette Club of Utah". Friday, May, 2nd. Drivers meeting at 10:15 and Leave at 10:30 This Will give those who would like to tour or just wander around the dam a chance to do so We will have time for lunch in Kingman and spend about an hour then regroup and continue to Seligman, AZ to pick up our packets and enjoy the festivities happening in the town. We will leave at About 5:00 to get back to Kingman for Dinner At the Damn Bar and Steak House, 6:00 Happy hour Dinner 6:30. We will be staying at the Kings Inn ph. 928-753-6101 the rate will be $140.00 plus tax Reservations under The Corvette Club of Utah We will book two nights here Friday and Saturday Saturday, May 3rd. Today is your day off wander around Kingman and the surrounding areas. Sunday, May 4th. Drivers meeting at 9:30 then we will leave, heading to Oatman to see the town and play with the Donkeys, shop, and relax for about an hour and a half. The departure time will be set when we are arriving in town on our radios. We will leave as a group to arrive in Topoc, so Steve can get a picture of your car passing through the Finish line. We can get a Burger and Beverage, Relax, and leave as a group in about 1-1/2 hours to head to Williams. LARRY'S TRIP TAKE'S OVER AT THIS POINT! After Lunch in Topoc we will travel I-40 to Winslow, AZ Stopping at Williams for potty break. We will continue through town and on to WINSLOW. In town activities are OLD TRAILS MUSEUM, STANDING ON THE CORNER, 1st STREET PATHWAY PARK & TRAINS. We have a block of rooms at the Historic "La Posata Hotel". When calling for rooms, Please make sure to call 928-289-4366, inform the person on the phone we have a group block code for 5/4/25 for 1 night.
